토니 모리슨의 대표작 가운데 하나입니다. 매우 다르지만 또 매우 닮은 넬과 술라 두 여성의 우정을 통해 1920-1930년대 미국 흑인들의 삶의 모습을 조명했습니다. 이름부터가 “Bottom”인 마을, 밑바닥에서 시작된 우정은 세월이 흐르며 변치 않을 수 있을까요?
